Annie

It is rare to find a picture that speaks volumes, with a voice that bellows beyond borders, evoking the deepest of emotions. The inquiring mind finds it hard to resist the eloquence with which a message in a picture is conveyed, almost as if to say that a picture can easily be equated to a compilation of written words.

This is how I feel about Annie Leibovitz' work. As imaginative as her concepts are there is still a sense of simplicity maintained throughout her work, which I find inviting, uninhibited and unbiased.

She is able to tell a story with each picture, each one different from the last. She incorporates a a sense of ecclecticism that continues to refine her level of individualism.

Ironically enough, even looking at her black and white snaps is like looking through a kaleidoscope of emotions, each one depicted by a different colour.

I absolutely love her!
