Just the other day, I managed to drag my behind to this kiff spot just around the corner dubbed Arcade Empire. I'm glad I finally got around to going because the place encompasses everything I could possibly want in one place; live music, good people, great vibe.

Zebra and Giraffe, Taxi Violence as well as Machineri (all local bands) were performing. I was particularly blown by Taxi Violence's performance. George van der Spuy, the lead singer of the band was so vigorous in his performance. He had the crowd hanging on his every lyric and moved as if he was hearing his own music for the first time, which I found entrancing and so I got my freaky jerking dance on. I think you might notice that most of these are pics of him (embarrassed face).

Again...

...and again.

Music caters for the irony that is releasing your soul in order to truly get it back.
