I always used to laugh at people who have this constant need to make up their own lyrics to songs and sing them with such vigour and conviction, almost convincing one that those are indeed the correct words. This was all until I too became one of them. Unfortunately for me, whenever I did this I always had a self proclaimed ambassador of http://www.sing365.com/ waiting with great anticipation for such an opportunity in which they wouldn't hesitate to pounce.

I've had this one song stuck in my head for the past few weeks or so. It's called Bang, Bang, Bang by Mark Ronson, feat. Q-Tip. When I first heard the song last year, I thought the chorus went "No way-ay, no way-ay, shake it to Berella, shake it to Berella, come on, come on", which doesn't even make sense. Turns out it goes "No way, No way, bang you're dead dead, here's your silhouette, je te plumerai la, tete, je te plumerai la, tete". Wow, that's not embarrassing at all.

Other not-so-common mistakes:

Nelly Furtado - Try

"If you were the seeds, the more I'd sew..."

Correct lyrics: "The fewer the seeds the more I'd sew..."

Jimmy Eat World - Hear you me

"May angels guide you home..."

Correct lyrics: "May angels lead you in..."

Jimmy Eat World - The Middle

"It just takes some time, a little bit, a little bit for a while"

Correct lyrics: "It just takes some time, little girl, you're in the middle of the ride."

Beyonce - Baby Boy

"Baby boy it's ka-tingling down"

Correct lyrics: "Baby boy lets, conceive an angel"

Here's the video for Bang, Bang, Bang
